How fun is this yarn?! Made from 70% coffee fiber polyviscose and 30% milk casein protein fiber, I dubbed this yarn “cafe au lait,” French for the classic “coffee with milk.” This yarn dyes ever-so-slightly softer than the rest of my yarns (which dye full saturation) but is a bright white base to begin with: the perfect canvas! This yarn is incredibly soft, shiny, drapey, and lends a spongy, squishy quality to the finished fabric.
Dye with soda ash (do not soak in soda ash for more than 20-30 minutes), batch tabletop at room temperature 12-24 hours. Rinse until clear.
Priced per cone. Next-to-skin soft. Baby soft. Suitable for baby wraps.
